This picture was taken by John Collier. It was created/published in 1941. He was at Southeastern Air Training Center in Selma, Alabama. They were having a chicken dinner from the FSA (Farm Security Administration). They are indoors during the evening. He is with fellow people training in the Southeastern Air Training Center. They are all gathered around for dinner wearing there uniforms. The man has a very military look. What is most catching about this picture is that hes eating dessert. I just think this is a cool picture and is intresting. It looks like they are just in a normal room like some sort of dinning hall. The room looks as though it is filled with light and has a postive tone to it. The people look like they would be having a good time and had a good meal. He looks like he is very full and satisafied. If i could as the people or the photographer two questions i would first as the man in the picture how the night went and what happened? Also i would ask: was there a reason for this dinner and was it a special night (were the celebreating anything)?

This picture was taken by Jack Delano. It was taken at an African Americans Tenement in Greensboro, Albama. The picture was created/published in May 1941. The people in the picture are indoors. It looks like all of the people in the picture are girls. It also looks like there is a little kitten in the very front of the picture. They look young, espically the one on the bed to the right. The girl on the left of the bed looks like she is wearing an apron. They other girls are dressed in kind of poor clothing. The first thing that catches your eye is all the pictures on the wall adn the kitten in the front. They are in some kind of small apartment or house. The poople look sad or bored. They girl on the left of the bed just looks very serious. She looks like she might have just gotton home from work because she looks tired and is wearing an apron. If I could ask them two questions my first one would be: what are all of the pictures on the walls? I was also wondering what they had just been doing.

This is a picture taken by Evans Walker. It was created/published in December 1935. It is a picture of a sidewalk scene in Selma, Alabama. It is clearly outside and looks to be like a urban area. It looks like it could be around early morning or lunch time. There are about five or six people featured in this picture. The person in the door could be working at whatever that place is, it could be a grocery stor.. The man to the right of the working man looks like he is just relaxing and has no where to go. The rest of the people are just sitting on a bench. It is definitely a positive scene. It looks like it could be a nice day out and they are all just enjoying it. the person all the way to the left of the bench is reading a paper. They all just look very happy and conftorble. If i could ask the photographer some questions i would ask him what the place is in the picture and what the people on the bench are doing, are they waiting for something or just relaxing. I was also wondering if it was a nice day so i would ask him that too.
